I’m Esther Bridget Joy (she/her), a filmmaker, educator, photographer, and multidisciplinary artist based on Gadigal Land (Sydney).

Within my photography, I’m drawn to capturing nostalgia in real time, working across both film and digital. I’ve shot across studio, fashion, art, events, weddings, portrait, and travel - always seeking the tender, the strange, and the almost-missed.

Film
With a background in art-house filmmaking and documentary making, I approach filmmaking with both instinct and intention and like to create space for things to unfold naturally, while gently guiding when needed - shaping stories that feel emotionally honest and visually exciting.

Workshops
I facilitate workshops on menstrual and hormonal health, creating grounded, supportive spaces for people to better understand their bodies and build a sense of autonomy and connection.
