Based on Gadigal Land (Sydney), Esther works predominantly on film, complemented by her proficiency in digital photography. She is drawn to the fleeting - capturing moments that feel nostalgic even as they unfold. Her work lingers on the strange, the tender, and the almost-missed.

While much of her work is spontaneous and instinctual, Esther can step in and direct with clarity when needed, guided by her background in art-house film direction. She knows how to shape people into moods, movements, and compositions that feel true - never forced - and her calm presence makes it easy for others to open up on camera. She lets play, conversation, and intuition lead - allowing real selves and moments to surface.

Able to find beauty in almost any moment or pose, she adapts quickly to new environments and subjects.
